Of course I hope I can attend those cons next year as well, probably with a Cosplay...
Erm yes...so what...else....ah yeah, .hack//OUTBREAK arrived last wednesday, but I already finished the main plot by now...it's pretty short...but I like it nevertheless. If you like .hack//SIGN you're going to like the games as well. Also, theres a chance that you met Tsukasa, Mimiru or Subaru while playing.
About Kingdom Hearts 2: I heard it's going to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show this month. I hope they show some footage except for the 2 secret ending videos from Kingdom Hearts 1.
I'm SO looking forward to this game although I just saw some propaganda material up till now
And since one of my brothers moved out I'm going to move into the basement. Finally I get some "posternice" walls, a small kitchen and it's going to be way cooler (literally) down there in the summer... I'm going to post some pics when I moved all of my stuff.
Oh yeah and I got accepted to the University I wanted to attend (Münster), although it was pretty improbable that they'd accept me. But they did
I should say something about the animes I'm currently watching as well:
R.o.D. TV - The first episode totally owned, its pretty funny, got loveable characters and the action and animation are great. The 2nd ep was boring though, but I will keep watching it. I don't really know if it's good that they kept the R.o.D. OVA OST for this show as well...but for the 1st episode it fit quite well.
Stellvia of the Universe - A pretty loveable and sweet show, although the girls cry way too often for my taste..^^ It's basically about a Highschool-like institution in space and how they have to ban the threat of a Meteor wave thats approaching to earth really fast.
Onegai Twins - looks like another stupid fanservice show, but I like this one way more than I liked Onegai Teacher. I laughed pretty hard at some points as well, which doesn't make me a pervert...I hope
Wolf's Rain - Great show, can't say much else, great show! Too bad they're going to finish the story with a OVA series, which means waiting....but it's worth it.
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! - The second season of "Full Metal Panic?". Up until now it looks like it won't involve any war story or mechas, but it's much funnier this time since it basically evolves around the daily school life of Sagara, Chidori and their company (woot, a rhyme!). This ranges from blowing up school property, over Chidori slapping sagara (several times), to Sagara "rescuing" Chidori from some rich kid. Check it out.
One Piece - It currently airs on one local TV station, and although there are several cuts I love it. It doesn't take itself so serious, but there are some points which are pretty emotional and cool. The characters from "Ruffy's Crew" are really weird and different people. For example theres a swordsman with a 3 swords-style who used to hunt pirates and strives for the title of " best swordsman in the world". Also, theres Nami, a greedy thief girl. In terms of money she isn't that nice but she's still reliable and stays true and trustworthy to her crew (unless they want money from her
Well, it IS somewhat like Dragonball, but the storys range from deep and serious (e.g. civil war) to just plain funny, and are very entertaining at that. It doesn't only revolve about fighting. The characters' pasts and their passion and aims are reflected very often, and they stand up for their points as well as their friends. Check this out as well, just don't take it TOO seriously and you can have a great time.
Gundam SEED - Totally owns. Somewhat too bishonen for my taste but hey, the girls make up for it hehe. I don't watch it for the girls though. Apart from 8th MS Team and parts of Wing I never really followed any Gundam series, but SEED is just a great space drama with plenty of good action and dramatical moments. Love it.
Earth Girl Arjuna - The first eps were stupid, despite the good animation. However, the later eps get much better and twist with your mind just like Eva and Lain do. When you think about it it does bear a lot of resemblance to some Ghibli works animationwise, and also to Eva and Lain characterwise. I wouldn't have watched it this soon unless someone recommended it to me. It's good but doesn't beat neither Eva, nor Lain, nor Seikai no Monshou.
Ikki Tousen - Well, lots of fanservice but the proportions aren't "overdone", that's why I watch it
Also check out Last Exile and Scrapped Princess. They're one of the best shows of the ongoing season. Hell, maybe even the best shows of the the past 2 seasons.
I'm too tired to write anymore, maybe later, ja ne.
